(25 January 2024 – Irvine, CA) Team Visma | Lease a Bike has announced a three-year partnership with Giro Sport Design as the official helmet sponsor. Giro will support and provide all helmets for Visma | Lease a Bike riders through 2026.
Giro will support all Visma | Lease a Bike riders with three category-leading helmets: the Aries Spherical and Eclipse Spherical road helmets, and the Aerohead MIPS time trial helmet. This partnership with Giro will enhance the performance and protection of all Visma | Lease a Bike riders.
Head of Performance for Visma | Lease a bike, Mathieu Heijboer, was closely involved in setting up the partnership with Giro. "We are constantly looking within the team for opportunities to develop and take performance to the next level. We are convinced that we have found a good partner in Giro to help us do this. They are extremely motivated and the synergy between our team and Giro is strong. Giro listens to our needs and wants and puts them into practice. We'll see the results in 2024.”
